Jared Nordman, PI
Jared received his Ph.D. in 2008 from the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He performed his postdoctoral training at the Whitehead Institute in the laboratory of Terry Orr-Weaver.

Saumya Patel, Research Assistant I
Saumya received a B.Sc. in 2016 from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.

Alex Munden, PhD Student
Alex received a B.Sc from Johns Hopkins University in 2010. After working as an RA at Vanderbilt Medical School, Alex started the IGP program in 2015 and joined the Nordman lab in 2016.

Souradip Das, PhD Student
"Dip" joined the lab in 2018 directly through the BioSci program. His interests are in understanding changes in replication timing and genome structure during development.

Logan Richards, PhD Student
Logan received a B.Sc from Purdue University in 2017.  Logan started the IGP program in 2017 and joined the Nordman lab in 2018. His interests include trying to understand the molecular mechanism by which Rif1 regulates replication timing. **Please note: if you lose a bet in the Nordman lab, you may end up with a mustache!

Diana Balasubramanian, Postdoctoral researcher
Diana receive her PhD from the University of Otago in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2015. After a brief postdoc at St. Jude's in Memphis, Diana joined the Nordman lab in 2018. Diana's research interests include understanding replication in the context of chromatin.

Jack Rong, Undergraduate Researcher
Jack is originally from Beijing and is now a sophomore at Vanderbilt. He loves dissecting and staining salivary glands!

Amanda Sun, Undergraduate Researcher
Amanda is a sophomore at Vanderbilt and our newest recruit. She is also one the first BCB majors here at Vanderbilt.
